Around 2:30am on April 27 Station 32 was alerted to a structure fire on Hickory Grove Rd.  Chief Jackson(3200) arrived on scene to report a fully involved Mobile Home fire. Rescue 32 arrived shortly after with a crew of 4 and stretched a 2 1/2" attack line for a quick knock down. Engine and Tanker 32 along with the balance of the box arrived to stretch a backup line and perform search. The structure was a total loss due to construction and no working alarm system. The fire was placed under investigation with the Gaston County Fire Marshal's office. Units remained on scene to assist clearing around 7am.
